I did something new this weekend. Instead of playing a game where as a player, I ran a game as the Game Master. I used an Adventure League module as a base, and kind of stuck to it for the first half. Then gave up on that and started making things up as I went along.
And it was a lot of fun.
I didn’t get told that many criticisms of my GM technique. The biggest thing is for me to come down and pay more attention to what is happening when. Which I can do.
I’ve had this campaign idea running around in my head for months. And now I’ve gotten the chance to run something. I’m more anxious to get that running.
That may be the new obsession.
